GREEN BUILDING

MKG Contracting Services is a proud member of the Canada Green Building Council.

Matt Gilman, P.Eng., LEED® AP, GSC of MKG Contracting Services Inc. is likely the most experienced LEED® Project Manager in Simcoe County. Matt obtained his LEED® Accredited Professional Designation from Canada Green Building Council in 2009 and since then has completed three LEED® certified projects in a Project Management role. The first was the LEED® Silver Certified Emergency Family Shelter in East Gwillimbury; the second was the LEED® Gold Certified Cooper House Residence at Lakefield College School and most recently, the LEED® Gold Cafeteria/Bookstore at Lakehead University, Orillia Campus.

LEED® Certification adds value and creates a more efficient and better performing building, which will reduce energy consumption costs in addition to numerous other benefits, which makes the minimal investment a smart decision. Owners and Consultants interested in adding LEED® Certification to their project should contact MKG Contracting Services during design development to incorporate important elements into the plans and specifications as required by Canada Green Building Council.
